The Dual Interlocking Hinge (DIH) Series expansion joint is designed for extreme-duty service conditions with the ability to provide a smooth and virtually impact-free transition between opposing floor surfaces. The dual interlocking center slide plates are hinged to allow the system to remain flush with finished floor surface while accommodating both thermal and multi-directional seismic movement. Six rubber anti-vibration dampers eliminate metal-to-metal noise and help prevent the infiltration of liquids. An optional TriBlokTM moisture barrier and LokCrete® elastomeric concrete infill enhance the system’s waterproofing capability.
