The Hub on Causeway

The Hub on Causeway is a mixed-use development in Boston that adjoins TD Garden and North Station—what was formerly the site of Boston Garden. At one and a half million square feet, this development brings a substantial impact to the community with retail, office, hotel, and residential space.

With the start of the Bruins and Celtics seasons just around the corner, we worked within an accelerated timeline to meet the needs of the client.

Although a pedestrian system was specified, after further review with the architectural design team, it was determined that a heavy-duty system would be more conducive to the space due to machinery movement within the complex. Gensler and SCI Architects worked in parallel with our MM Systems Engineers to design a hybrid system based off our parking deck solutions. The final design combined heavy-duty stainless-steel cover plates, waterproofed frames, sound dampening gaskets, and centering bars.

We consider this another Tailored Technology Solution™ for our satisfied clients!
