Cottonwood Broadway

Cottonwood Broadway Apartments in Salt Lake City sits in a convenient area of town just minutes away from bustling downtown. This seven-story complex hosts 256 apartment units, a two-level parking garage, and a rooftop pool. MM Systems was selected as the expansion joints provider for the apartments, parking garage, roof, and building facade.

Various technologies were tailored to accommodate each individual element for this project. Shallow concrete deck, waterproofing, seismic zone movement, and aesthetics all played a part in our provided solutions. We worked with Studio PBA Architects to engineer specific seismic designs capable of spanning 12-inch structural openings.

While numerous factors outside our control caused jobsite delays, our local installation contractor, Architectural Components, stayed on top of the project and pushed it through to completion.
