Resorts World is the first integrated resort built on the Las Vegas Strip in over a decade. The property, with its $4.3 billion price tag, is the most expensive property ever developed in Las Vegas.
The resort needed more than just expansion joints—they needed a system that would fit a specific aesthetic and blend into the design elements. Our Hinged Safety Cover (Single Hinge) (HSC) was used throughout the main walkways, the lobby, and the conference room to help with uneven flooring and sound dampening.
Keeping with the aesthetic, ASC covers on the wall joints required specific attention to detail—a flush install so they could blend in seamlessly when painted.
Among the properties exclusive amenities boasts a 5,000-capacity theater that was added after the initial plans. Our Pan Design Seismic System (PDS-E) provided a camouflaged, recessed, “no bump” surface for the floor joints in this high-trafficked area. The joints were finished with a terrazzo infill—creating a clean sightline.
