George Ayotte Garage

Built circa 1985 in the city of Lowell, Massachusetts, the George Ayotte Garage was due for a renovation. The structure consists of five supported levels of precast concrete and spandrels with a brick infill as well as existing expansion joint seals that needed replacing.

Renovations require the ability to adapt to existing structural design as well as movement that’s occurred over time. Our Lokcrete® Membrane Seal (LMS) is a waterproof expansion joint system with impact absorbing elastomeric concrete that bonds a continuous Elastoprene membrane seal to the concrete deck. Our vacuum technique helped accommodate the tight spaces for this renovation.
